Toshiba Medical Systems featured its Aquilion One dynamic volume CT scanner, which utilizes 320 high-resolution detector rows, during the Radiological Society of North America (RSNA) annual meeting in Chicago, Nov. 30 through Dec. 4.

Introduced in November 2007, the Aquilion One CT produces 4D videos that show an organ’s structure, movement and blood flow. The technology helps reduce multiple exposures to radiation and exam time, according to the company.

The company said that physcians can image in a single gantry rotation and shows dynamic function, like blood flow.
