Toshiba America Medical Systems Inc. this week announced its support of six educational programs in 2006 from the American College of Cardiology Foundation (ACCF).

The first of the six educational programs in this year offers 23.5 American Medical Association (AMA) PRA Category 1 Credits and is designed to emphasize the practical aspects of SPECT (single photon emission computed tomography). Additionally, for the first time the program curriculum incorporates cardiac CT, including interpretation of complex coronary angiography studies and coronary calcium scoring.
