UT Southwestern heart, vascular center nets $3M grant
The Harry W. Bass Jr. Foundation has given $3 million to Southwestern Medical Foundation in support of the Clinical Center for Heart, Lung and Vascular Disease at University of Texas (UT) Southwestern University Hospital in Dallas.
The University said that the gift will enhance research and clinical care programs at the center, including UT’s heart and lung transplant program.
The center, renamed the Doris and Harry W. Bass Jr. Clinical Center for Heart, Lung and Vascular Disease, is a collaboration between UT Southwestern faculty and community physicians for patients needing cardiac, pulmonary or vascular care.
