Vermont health system files for a $57 million EHR program
Fletcher Allen Health Care of Burlington, Vt., has submitted a certificate of need application to the Department of Banking, Insurance, Securities and Health Care Administration for $57.2 million to install an EHR system.
Fletcher Allen is an academic medical center and healthcare provider that consists of more than 30 facilities throughout Vermont, and approximately 750 physicians.
If Fletcher Allen receives the grant, it will select Epic Systems, a Madison, Wis.-based healthcare software firm to supply specialized software and implementation services.
