Amcom nabs critical test results management system
Amcom Software has acquired IMCO Technologies’ critical test results management suite for an undisclosed sum.
The acquisition will provide technology that will seek to streamline the delivery of critical test results to ordering physicians, Minneapolis-based Amcom said.
The renamed Amcom Critical Test Results Management system brings together once-disparate pieces of information essential to the communication of test results to the clinicians who ordered them. The system will integrate the critical test results functionality from IMCO with Amcom’s suite of communication workflow products, including smartphone messaging. The technology supports traceable, closed-loop test results information, according to Amcom.
