RSNA: Etiam to debut latest version of Secure Medical Networking
Etiam (Booth 8208) is debuting Secure Medical Networking (SMN) version 3.20 at the 97th annual RSNA scientific sessions and annual meeting of RSNA, Nov. 27 to Dec. 2, in Chicago.

Etiam’s SMN version 3.20 allows facilities to transfer imaging data and also organizes external images that may enter facilities on a daily basis. The four modes of image transfer include:
  • Traditional CD and film capture;
  • Web upload on the fly from any location;
  • SMN Agent gateway, which provides a secure link between two institutions; and
  • SMN Community Nexus, using a similar secured link between two institutions, with features such as customizable image routing.
SMN version 3.20 also supports bi-directional consultation, which enables practitioners in multiple locations to share over the internet both imaging data and a range of related patient files and to communicate about this information in real time.
