Communications company Vocera Communications has acquired Clinical Health Communications and Integrated Voice Solutions. The terms of the acquisitions were not disclosed.

The OptiVox (Clinical Health Communications) and VoiceCare (Integrated Voice Solutions) applications help hospital workers manage patient handoffs and offer a communication tool that allows anytime access to patient status, the San Jose, Calif.-based Vocera stated.

According to the company, Vocera is positioned to expand these businesses through its sales force and relationships with hospitals.
