Kyron Clinical Imaging, a developer of brain imaging software, has received a Small Business Innovation Research (SBIR) grant from the National Cancer Institute (NCI).

Through the Phase I SBIR grant, Kyron will receive approximately $200,000 over the course of one year in support for further research, development and innovation, according to the Wauwatosa, Wis.-based company.

Kyron qualified for the Phase I SBIR grant because it is a for-profit U.S. business with less than 500 employees.
