2016 compensation report: How much money do radiologists make?

Radiologists rank fifth among all physicians with an average annual salary of $375,000, according to a recent survey on radiologist compensation conducted and published by Medscape.

The report, which analyzed the responses of radiologists concerning their compensation, work schedules, patient interaction, job satisfaction, professional challenges and more, also showed that radiologists saw a 6 percent increase in salary last year, near the middle among all physicians who responded to the survey.

The highest salaries for radiologists were found in the Southeast ($416,000), while radiologists in the Northwest reported the lowest average salaries ($336,000).
