Agfa lands series of installs
Three healthcare systems in Luxembourg and Germany—a total of eight hospitals—have contracted with Agfa HealthCare to provide the facilities with RIS and HIS, archiving and document management technologies.
Foundation of the Cellitinnen, a network of nine German hospitals northwest of Cologne and Wuppertal, has signed on to Agfa’s Orbis HIS/RIS, bringing all nine facilities on-board with the product. The 1,965-bed group will utilize a phased approach to integrating each facility’s systems, culminating in a comprehensive patient record.
In Germany, St. Vincenz Hospital (in Limburg) has purchased the Mortsel, Belgium-based Agfa’s HydMedia digital document management system as well as Orbis HIS/RIS. The system will integrate financial and cost unit accounting for the hospital.
Finally, the health IT company locked three additional installs with the François-Elisabeth Foundation in Luxembourg, all of which will transfer their HIS and RIS to Agfa’s Orbis and will deploy HydMedia for digital archiving.
