Bayhealth picks IntegradWeb
Dynamic Imaging has announced that Bayhealth Medical Center, headquartered in Dover, Del., will install the company's web-based IntegradWeb. This installation replaces another of the company's PACS offerings that was installed in 2002.

As the second largest healthcare system in the state, Bayhealth Medical Center is comprised of two hospitals, a mental health center, has several satellite facilities and is a member of the Premier Health Care Alliance, one of the nation's largest group purchasing organizations, Dynamic Imaging said.

The Center prides itself on using the latest technology for its patient care.

In addition to IntegradWeb, Bayhealth uses a large selection of McKesson's clinical and administrative systems, speech-recognition technology, and RSA Security's SecurID for user authentication.

"We are implementing an enterprise-wide storage strategy using EMC Corporation's Clariion and Centera technology, and will soon implement several enterprise-wide clinical information systems," said David Walczak, assistant VP of technology at Bayhealth, according to a release. "We are looking forward to seamlessly integrating Dynamic Imaging's Web-based technology with all of our clinical and storage systems, providing our physicians and caregivers with unmatched availability to their patients' images, wherever they may be."
