Connecticut hospital selects Quantum Medical Imaging
Quantum Medical Imaging reported that it has completed its second equipment installation of a Q-Rad-Digital Floor Mounted System, which included Canon’s 40EG/50G digital panels, at New Britain General Hospital.

The hospital is the New Britain, Conn., campus for the 414-bed, acute care Hospital of Central Connecticut.

According to Ronkonkoma, N.Y.-based Quantum, the system also includes TechVision, which has two-way generator integration and image preview that allows the technologist to remain close to the patient at all times during the exams.

The Q-Rad-Digital Floor Mounted system uses a floor mounted track with a rotational column allowing cross table and decubitis studies to be done on the table top, the company said.

Q-Rad said its digital systems are designed for hospital emergency rooms, imaging centers and orthopedic facilities which need to accommodate all types of imaging exams.
