University Hospital Center (CHU) de Poitiers in France has chosen Elekta to deliver three Elekta Synergy digital linear accelerator systems for intensity modulated and image guided radiation therapy (IGRT) to improve radiation therapy treatment capacity. The order is valued at close to $7.24 million (€5 million).

CHU de Poitiers, the only radiotherapy center focusing on advanced radiation therapy in the Poitou-Charente region, has chosen to upgrade their facilities and replace older from another vendor with three Synergy systems, according to the Stockhom, Sweden-based Elekta.
