Medipattern nabs multi-site install for B-CAD

Suffolk Medical Imaging and Mid Island Medical Imaging, private radiology practices serving the Long Island community in the greater metropolitan New York area have installed the B-CAD from Medipattern, a developer of computer-aided detection (CAD) medical imaging for cancer.

The two imaging practices have three GE Healthcare’s Logiq 9 ultrasound systems equipped with 4D volume probes. B-CAD receives images networked from the Logiq 9 via DICOM, the sonographer uses the CAD information to document the lesion and sends the report to the radiologist who reads the case with CAD, according to Jeff Collins, president and CEO of the Toronto-based Medipattern.
