Nemours, Orchestrate sign EMR deployment deal
Nemours Children’s Hospital (NCH), in Orlando, Fla., has partnered with healthcare technical consulting service company Orchestrate Healthcare on an enterprise-wide implementation of Epic EMR.
Orchestrate Healthcare, a healthcare technical consulting service company, will work with NCH's in-house team to implement more than 20 Epic EMR modules, which will provide EHR support for the hospital's patient- and family-focused delivery of care, according to Carbondale, Colo.-based Orchestrate.
NCH, scheduled to open in October 2012, will bring pediatric healthcare, education, prevention, research and advocacy to Central Florida, Orchestrate stated. NCH is one of the anchor facilities in the nationally recognized Lake Nona Medical City community, a 600-acre Central Florida planned development.
