N.J. hospital chooses Axolotl Elysium Exchange
Axolotl has implemented its Elysium Exchange to link disparate HIS and EMR systems at Clara Maass Medical Center (CMMC), part of the Saint Barnabas Health Care System, New Jersey's largest integrated healthcare delivery system.

Donald Lutz, CIO, Clara Maass Medical Center, said that emergency, inpatient and outpatient results now can be shared electronically with a patient's primary care physician or consultative specialist.

Using the Elysium Virtual Health Record (VHR), authorized physicians can also access a comprehensive view of the patient, collected and displayed from multiple HIS and EMR systems, located across the community. Lab reports, medication history, allergies, etc. are displayed in a tabular format, and unlike a portal, allow the physician to forward relevant information directly to their own EMR, according to Axolotl.
