Premier Inc. has awarded a three-year, multi-source contract to Agfa Healthcare for its entire line of Impax PACS hardware, software, professional services and service maintenance.

Premier has approximately 1,500 member hospitals and affiliated imaging center alternate sites, which estimated annual PACS purchases of some $100 million.

The Impax offering includes PACS for radiology and cardiology; as well as distribution, reporting, and storage capabilities to connect and manage clinical workflow, data and resources.
