QuadraMed Corp. has announced that its Affinity RIS is now generally available in the U.S. Affinity Radiology is the latest in a series of on-going system enhancements. As part of the announcement, the company has revealed that the initial U.S. install site will be Gillette Children's Specialty Healthcare, St. Paul, Minn.

Affinity Radiology with Affinity Patient Access and Care Management systems provide a seamless connection to enhance clinical workflow of radiology data and images. A complete RIS and clinical systems deployment allows streamlined, automated workflow processes, collects, displays, manages and instantly delivers vital patient information, increases clinical and operational performance, helps improve patient safety, reduce errors and supports the "care based" revenue cycle management process, the company said.
