Stentor Inc. has been selected by the U.S. Department of Defense (DOD) for the DIN-PACS II contract under which the DOD, Army, Navy, Air Force, Marine Corps, federal civilian agencies, and the Department of Veterans Affairs purchase medical imaging and information systems from approved suppliers.

The contract award is the result of a collaboration between Stentor and IBM. Government agencies can now order Stentor's iSite PACS through IBM, said Stentor.

The DIN-PACS (Digital Imaging Network Picture Archiving & Communications Systems) II contract is a one-year contract with four one-year options to renew.
