Twin County Regional Hospital (TCRH), a 141-bed hospital with several affiliated physician practices in Galax, Va., is planning to expand its McKesson Paragon hospital information system to include inpatient and outpatient EHRs in the facilitatation of information sharing between the sites.

In addition to McKesson’s EHR system, TCRH also plans to implement the San Francisco-based health IT providers’ electronic document imaging system, pharmacy information system, computerized physician order entry system and medication administration bar-coding technology system, said the company.
