MDH Radiology has signed an agreement with Sectra to utilize Sectra Breast Imaging PACS for the remote reading of mammograms.

The agreement also included integrated breast density software provided by Volpara, digital reporting software and breast cancer risk profiles by PenRad and Merge Healthcare’s CADstream for breast  MRI readings. New York City-based MDH Radiology will use the multi-tiered service offering to assist healthcare providers in their existing breast imaging and biopsy services, according to Sectra.

Sectra Breast Imaging PACS is a web-based, multi-modality system featuring diagnostic tools, including integrated CAD, breast density assessment and reporting, that offers a single-system reading environment for mammographers. All digital breast images, regardless of modality vendor, are displayed in the same size with correct orientation and alignment, according to Sectra.
