A Philippines-based healthcare startup has recently launched a web-based application that works to combat the global shortage of radiologists.

The application, from Lifetrack Medical Systems, links less-experienced radiology "apprentices" (the equivalent of residents in the U.S.) with more experienced radiologists who will assist the apprentices with readings and assessments.
