A Canadian manufacturer of positron emission tomography equipment has received FDA’s OK to market a small-footprint scanner that images targeted organs bearing radiotracers at close range.

On July 18 Fresenius Kabi announced that they are rolling out a line of generic contrast media products, starting immediately with Iodixanol Injection USP.

The software will be used for the triage and notification of intracranial hemorrhage (ICH), pulmonary embolism (PE) and c-spine fractures identified on CT imaging.
